CCN's Paulo Alejandria reports on the still developing story of the Officer Involved Shooting of 20 year old Kendrec Lavelle McDade after an alleged robbery victim told police the suspects had guns. Police have since arrested Oscar Carillo who made the 911 call for telling authorities false information and charged him with involuntary manslaughter. Police have now released the names of the officers involved in the shooting: Officer Jeffery Newlen, male white, hired: 4-16-2007. He has no prior Officer Involved Shootings. Officer Mathew Griffin male white, hired: 8-28-2006. In 2007, Officer Griffin was involved in a shooting of a Rottweiller that was loose and had attached an individual and his dog.
